Need help with gwx2
Hi, so i had GWx2 working and I recently reformatted and upgraded with windows 7. I installed guild wars and let it download all the data overnight. I then got gwx2 from the makers website, copied all my "guilds wars" folder data into a new folder called "guild warz". I ran gwx2 and pointed them at gw.exe in each folder. I then clicked run and I got an error which I can't recall what it was. I can't reproduce the error because whenever I click the gwx2 application it automatically starts just one guild wars screen. I can't even get back to the point where i set the paths. I have tried deleting it and redownloading it etc. I have also tried "Run as Administrator" and to no avail. Any help?

Sorry I can't help on the GWx2 front, but give Guild Wars Multi Launch a try instead:

Try clearing it's entries out of the registry with CCleaner, Little Regisrty Cleaner and so on.
Could also try GWML, I've been using that, very simple and easy to use as well. |

I will third the easy use of GWML. It even enables you to have more than 2 copies of GW active.

Did you get a GW update? After every update, you need to copy your "master" copy of GW.exe to the second folder again. |
